This year for Halloween, it was definitely a little bit different than other years. For one, I was married and wasn't permitted to wear my awesome pimp outfit. Another big difference, married parties aren't nearly partyrific as single parties. I also had to work on Halloween. But for Kalee and I's first Halloween together, I thought we had a lot of fun. Mike and Megan Christensen hosted a party for a few friends at their home the weekend before Halloween. I asked if it was a dress up party and was told "yes, but you will be the only one dressed up...". Well I thought to myself "what is the fun of a Halloween party without costumes? So Kalee and I figured out a way to dress up without being too dressed up. We made t-shirts! I had some iron-on graphic paper from back in high school, yes, 7 or 8 years later, I still am using stuff from high school. So we went and bought white shirts from Wal-mart, found some sweet graphics, came up with some Halloween themed nick-names for ourselves, and started making t-shirts. The hardest part of the whole event, finding an ink-jet colored printer to print the graphics with. You also have to flip the graphics horizontally, so they will print backwards, but will look right when you iron them. After a few hours of running to get them done on time, we went to the party. We thought it was a pretty creative solution to a costume-less dilemma.

"Kalee the Killer" and "Vince the Vampire"
We also had "blood" on the sides of our sleeves and on the bottom sides of the shirts.
Alex, Tyler, Mary, Kalee and I, carving out our pumpkins.
All of us with our pumkins outside. This picture with without Megan, who is taking the picture.
This is with Megan, but without Mary, who is taking the picture.
Kalee and I forgot my cheat sheet, which is a print out of whatever I am going to carve, and then follow the shape of the printed sheet. So instead we just make a simple pumpkin, which is the one on the furthest left.
